The Jacobean Tree of Life design embroidery machine applique design uses elements from two of Pat Campbell’s Tree of Life hand applique patterns. This design can be done in two different methods on the embroidery machine. The first is to create the tree on one large background fabric via 12 multiple hoopings using alignment crosshairs. Once completed, add a border and quilt as desired. The second method is to create 12 fully quilted blocks in the hoop, then assemble them via the joining strips. This results in a “window frame” around the tree, which is finished with 14 quilted border and 4 quilted corner blocks. Both methods will complete a wall hanging finished at 32in x 40in. Additionally, the applique Bird and 5 Flowers on the tree are also individual designs.
